in response to the slaughter of african elephants solely for their tusks.
No one needs ivory but elephants.

May We Hope For Our Children, Mother. This family is at the edge of their resources . <br />If we humans can find a way to share land and water with them the will survive and remain on of the magnificent delights of Creation.<br />And if we value our own children enough to leave the Earth as we found it they also can be in awe of Life.<br />If we value ivory for trinkets more than the happiness of generations to come then maybe we need to pray to hope for our children also. What of my child.Mother?. In the midst of the slaughter of her family, her tribe, her species for the greed of ivory <br />to adorn chess pieces or letter openers this mother asks of the Creative Mother of all <br />for meaning of it all..and the means for protecting her remaining child.<br />25% of profit from sales of this artwork will be given to elephant rescue organizations.
